who you are
Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience.
2+ years working as a CAD Technician.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and standard BIM Software.
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
Revit or AutoCad Certification
You describe yourself as a self-starter with precise attention to detail,
Along with an ability to multi-task and prioritize.
You have effective communication skills with all levels of staff, and of course,
Take pride in work effort and product
You possess a two or four-year degree, with related experience;
With expertise in Microsoft Office Suite; and
Knowledge of Deltek Vision and/or Cosential (ideal but not required).
what you’d be responsible for
Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software and under direct supervision of other technicians of professional staff.
Drafting in Revit and AutoCAD.
Work directly with engineers and project teams to incorporate engineering design into CAD.
Perform design and drafting as directed by Project Designer.
Upon assignment, assist the project team in the completion of the required schematic design deliverables.
Assist in the preparation of reliable BIM-based drawings of site, floor and roof plans, exterior elevations, building and/or wall sections and primary details.
Assist in the integration of consultant engineer systems into the design development drawings.
Assist in the development of complete bid documents.
Assist in the submittal of bid documents to appropriate jurisdiction(s) for plan review and modify bid documents as required for final approval.
Assist other administrative team members and support staff, as required.
